Ross Lovegrove @ TED

23 August 2006

Ross Lovergrove’s talks @ TED. One of the best design speeches I’ve ever heard. Trully inspiring, my creative juices are boiling. Design is a cerebral process. It is observation and a highly intellectual analysis of the world around us. A must watch. (via MocoLoco)

Haven’t gotten to that one yet but there are a lot of good talks available there. Even Tony Robbins is good, which I wasn’t expecting. I mean, he’s got to be a good speaker but what he was saying was actually interesting. And don’t miss Cameron Sinclair, inspiring.

Yeah, I’m gonna sit down with popcorn and a beer and get to watch them all.

BTW, I tumbled onto a Kawasaki post on which he was just in awe over Majora Carter and her sutainable south bronx speech, her talking public speaking skills are “as good as Steve Jobs”:

Thanks for the pointer, I deleted a couple when I originally subscribed to the podcast and she was one. Downloading now.

Shit, j’savais même pas qu’il y avait un podcast.

People, you should check out the blog as well (get a description of the topic + post the videos on your blogs as well):

I looked at the Majora Carter one. She’s got some fantastic projects going, looks brilliant, etc. But she is faaaaaaaaar from Jobs, I don’t know what the heck Kawasaki was smoking but she’s not that good as a presenter. (I know, I know, he knows his shit but come on)

I KNOW! Content que j’suis pas tout seul: j’pensais que j’avais manqué qqch.
