Eric Demay

I commissioned my good friend and talented illustrator Katty Maurey to paint a portrait of the Demay family as a Christmas gift to Dad. The process was neat. I gave her a photos of all of us (viva el facebook) and references for the house, we discussed composition and important features, like the trees and daisies, and she took it all and put it together so harmoniously. “Hope your Dad like green, cause there’s a lot of it”, she said to me. I cannot be more pleased with the result.

So this is us, together end of summer 2010, in front of the house we have lived in for 20 years and now just sold, without mom, nor dogs either, turning the page and still together.
