I was on Isle Verte a little more than a week ago, hiking on the North tip, where one can cross when the tide so generously pulls out a little. You can see the whole island from there, its size suddenly diminished by the St-Laurent’s gorging breadth. There’s also this beautiful crater, a natural amphitheater chiseled out of the island rock.

And while the girls were sun bathing in the setting sun, I picked up a few sticks lying around, pegged them into the craggy surroundings and made my first landscape installation.
